Roman Moiseyev (Роман Моисеев | 罗曼 莫伊谢耶夫) is one of the brightest representatives of the Russian Conducting School.
Born in 1960 in Moscow. He received his primary musical education at the Ippolitov-Ivanov Childrens Musical School. He studied at the famous Academic Music College at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Merzlyakovka) and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, later with Great maestro Dmitry Kitajenko and Gennady Rozhdestvensky at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, as well at Arnold Katz in Novosibirsk.
Collaborates with the Symphony orchestras, Opera Houses, Soloists from Russia, Germany, Israel, Japan, Korea, USA, Belarus, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, etc. The conductor's repertoire includes the Best examples of World Classical Music, more than 20 opera and ballet performances.
Author of publications, reviews, collections. Chairman of the All-Russian public movement «Classical Musical Art». Member of the International Union of Musical Figures. He was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Diploma for participation in the Cultural life of Donbass, the Letter of Appreciation from the Government of Moscow etc. |
