Roman Moiseyev (Роман Моисеев) is one of the brightest representatives of the Russian Conducting School.
Born in 1960 in Moscow. He received his primary musical education at the Ippolitov-Ivanov Childrens Musical School. He studied at the famous Academic Music College at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Merzlyakovka) and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, later with Great maestro Dmitry Kitajenko and Gennady Rozhdestvensky at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, as well as at Arnold Katz in Novosibirsk.
Collaborates with the Symphony orchestras, Opera Houses, Soloists
from Russia, Germany, Israel, Japan, Korea, USA, Belarus, Hungary,
India, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, etc. The conductor's repertoire includes
the Best examples of World Classical Music, more than 20 opera and
ballet performances.
Author of publications, reviews, collections. Chairman of the
All-Russian public movement «Classical Musical Art - Service to the
Cause of Peace». Member of the International Union of Musical
Figures. He was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Ministry of
Culture of the Russian Federation, the Diploma for participation in
the Cultural life of Donbass (since 2018), the Letter of Appreciation from the Government of Moscow (2019) etc.
